2024 was a challenging year for many, but thanks to the support of compassionate individuals and our collective efforts, we made significant strides in helping the LGBTQI+ community and women affected by the war in Ukraine.
Direct Support for Communities
– Humanitarian aid packages for LGBTQI+ individuals: 1,696 (including 395 with hormone medications for trans people).
– Humanitarian aid packages for women: 11,708 (including 1,405 with books for children).
– Volunteer team: 182 volunteers.
Psychological Support
– Psychological consultations:
6,240 for women.
1,287 for LGBTQI+ individuals.
Training for specialists:
58 attended a 16-hour training on working with LGBTQI+ individuals.
Specialist network: 47 LGBTQI+ friendly psychologists across Ukraine and Europe.
Support systems: We launched a psychological support program for our team and supervision sessions for psychologists.
Legal Assistance
– Legal consultations:
1,565 for women in crisis situations.
743 for LGBTQI+ individuals.
– Friendly medical platform:
2,193 requests for LGBTQI+ friendly doctors.
172 doctors in our friendly database.
5 training sessions conducted for 172 medical professionals.
Shelters for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
– 37 individuals used our shelter in Lviv.
– 26 families found a safe space in our shelter in Chernivtsi.
